Wine tasting at Picnic

Received a cool event notice in my inbox from the good folks at Picnic. We’ve talked about Picnic and how Jenny and Anson are providing food and wine to the folks of PhinneyWood. But this Thursday, Friday and Saturday they’ll be hosting wine tastings at their shop. There are three, $8 to attend, 21 and over, and should be fun.

Here are the details:

Thursday, 11/13 from 5:30-7:30pm – “Six great values for under $15”

Friday, 11/14 from 5:00-7:00pm – Walla Walla’s Tertulia Cellars – Taste their newest releases. Definitely try their Viognier.

Saturday, 11/15 from 4:00-6:00pm – Brooks Winery 10th Anniversary – A special tasting with Janie Brooks Heuck

Since first writing about Picnic, we’ve grabbed some food to go and have really enjoyed it. Definitely try the pork rillette sandwich, I’m sure Anson and Jenny will have some wine to pair with it.  And also try their homemade bolognese sauce with homemade sausage, simply put it over pasta and dinner is done! Picnic is a fun little spot that should be checked out; good people, good food, and good wine. The design of the place is really well done too. Have fun and hope to see you at one of these tastings!
